DriveFinch ("we", "us") is a study app that helps people prepare for U.S. driver's license written tests. This policy explains what information the DriveFinch app handles.
1. Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and the app does not collect your name, email address, phone number or location. The app does not connect to the internet.
The app stores the following on your device only:
- the state and language you choose,
- your lesson progress, practice test results and settings.
This information is not sent to us. If Android backup is turned on for your device, Android may include it in your own Google account backup so it can be restored on a new phone; we cannot see that backup. Uninstalling the app deletes the data from the device.
2. Advertising and analytics
The app does not show ads and does not use third-party analytics or advertising tools.
3. Purchases
The app is currently free and has no in-app purchases. If we add purchases in the future, payments will be handled by Google Play, and we will update this policy before that feature is released.
4. Emailing us
If you choose to email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you and do not share it.
5. Children
DriveFinch is intended for people preparing for a learner's permit or driver's license, typically age 14 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Changes
If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
